The
Tamils were a clan who Valued love and bravery. Tholkappiam
has classified it grammatically as the science of Agathinai
and Purathinai. Purathinai which desevibes the characteristics
of bravery, also tells us about the heroism of the kings
of the past and Maravas.
The
ancient kings of ancient Tamizhagam and their armies,
in order to display their identity, used to wear different
flowers at the times of war- the cheras used to wear
Plam flower, the Pandyas, neem flowers and the Cholas,
Aadhi flower.
